Privacy policy

Boardsheet ("we") is a Google Sheets add-on, operated by Pegboard Labs, that copies data from Trello into Google Sheets spreadsheets you choose. This policy explains what data the add-on and our website access, why, and what happens to it.
Summary
- Your Trello card data goes from Trello directly into your spreadsheet. The add-on runs inside your own Google account, and card data does not pass through or get stored on our servers.
- Our server stores only your Google account ID, your email address, trial dates and subscription status.
- We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it except with the service providers listed below.
Google user data the add-on accesses
- The spreadsheet you use the add-on in (scope
spreadsheets.currentonly): to create the tabs you set up and write Trello data into them. The add-on cannot open your other spreadsheets or files. - Your email address and Google account ID (scopes
userinfo.email, openid): to start your free trial and link your subscription to your Google account. - Connections to external services (scope
script.external_request): only to the Trello API (api.trello.com, trello.com) and our license server (pegboardlabs.com). - Running in the background (scope
script.scriptapp): to run the hourly or daily syncs you turn on. - Showing the sidebar (scope
script.container.ui).
Sync settings (which boards and columns, and the schedule) are saved in the spreadsheet's private add-on storage. Your Trello access token is saved in your Google account's private add-on storage (Apps Script user properties). Only the add-on running for you can read either one.
Trello data
When you connect Trello, you grant the add-on read-only access. It reads the boards you pick: board and list names, cards and their fields (name, description, labels, members' names, dates, checklist counts, comment and attachment counts, custom field values) and writes them into your spreadsheet. We never change your Trello data. You can disconnect at any time from the sidebar, which also revokes the token at Trello, or from your Trello account settings.
Data stored on our server
Our license server (hosted on Cloudflare) stores: your Google account ID, email address, the date you first used the add-on, your trial end date, the last time the add-on checked your subscription, and your Paddle customer and subscription IDs and status. We use this only to provide the free trial and the subscription.
Payments
Payments are handled by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle collects your payment and billing details. We never see your card number.
Service providers
- Google (the add-on runs on Google Apps Script)
- Atlassian / Trello (source of the data you choose to sync)
- Cloudflare (hosts our website and license server)
- Paddle (payments, tax and invoicing)
Limited Use disclosure
Boardsheet's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and no person reads it unless you ask us to for support, or the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
Synced data lives in your spreadsheet, so you control it: delete the tabs or the spreadsheet. To remove your Trello token, click Disconnect in the sidebar. To delete the account record on our server, email support@pegboardlabs.com from the Google account you used. We delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or accounting.
Security
All connections use HTTPS. Trello tokens are never sent to our server. Identity checks against our server use Google-signed tokens instead of passwords.
Children
Boardsheet is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.
